fine art panoramic large format sepia colour pictures of :

“Scott’s view”

Refers to a scenic viewpoint known world wide.

The view overlooking the Valley of the Tweed and the three peaks of Eildon Hill from Bemersyde was one of poet Sir Walter Scott’s favourite views of his beloved Borderland.

It is said that the horse taking him to his enterment at Dryburgh Abbey stopped at this spot,

as it usually did on its daily outings with Sir Walter aboard.

“Scott’s Smailholm Tower”

Radan walks into the footsteps of poet Sir Walter Scott,

painter William Turner and pioneer of photography Fox Talbot.

“Rannoch Moor”

A dramatic scenery of a wild and desolate moorland on the road to Glencoe and Fort William.

“ Lochan na h’Achlaise ”

a loch in a boggy landscape surrounded with the “Black mount” mountains. Designated a National Heritage Site, Site of Special Scientific Interest and of special Area of Conservation.

Landen – André Devlaeminck (59) behoort tot het selecte clubje van fotografen die het picturialisme hoog in het vaandel draagt. Onlangs was hij te gast op de imposante fotografiebeurs in het Toscaanse Arezzo met het onderwerp “Let there be light”.

This year, from September 23 till October 2, the third edition of Arezzo & Fotografia will take place. André Devlaeminck “Radan” will be among the artists exposing their work. Some of the other well known artists that one will find here are:

In 2011 heeft Landen zijn 800ste jaar als stad gevierd. Om deze verjaardag te vieren hebben zij in de loop van het jaar 2011 meerdere feestelijke activiteiten opgezet. De kunsten die een link hebben met Landen maakten deel uit van het programma.

Kunstfotograaf André Devlaminck (aka RADAN) uit Landen had Kimberly Schemmekes uit Landen meegebracht, zij stond voor zijn lens als model voor zijn versie van de mystieke Landense Geertrui.
